    Arrival to Naples in the morning. During afternoon will go through the famous “Spaccanapoli”, road of the ancient Greek Roman course,discovering squares, churches, old lanes and historic centre (Piazza del Gesù, Santa Chiara, San Domenico, Maggiore, Sansevero Museo). It will be an opportunity for grasping, in meetings, the popular and in the same time noble spirit of the Capital of Southern Italy. A surprise will be the visit to the “Napoli underground”, street for the water but also shelter telling the parallel history of an hidden world.

    we'll start from Plebiscito square to admire in a plain walk, the most famous monuments as Royal Palace, S. Carlo theatre, New Castle, Borgo Marinaro (marine village), Castle dell’Ovo,Maschio Angioino (Angevin donjon). For lunch will taste the original pizza. After a rest in hotel,will reach the islet of Megaride where the myth of Neapolitan Siren was born.

    After breakfast we'll leave for Pollino. There will be a stop over in Pompei with a possible entrance to the excavations. A panoramic itinerary by bus will take to visit Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, which enchanting places with some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Visit to some perecious Calabrese villages as Civita, Altomonte and Morano. For dinner we will taste some Calabrese food specialties.

    We will make an historic tour of one of the most beautiful villages. After a meeting with Mayor and local community will lead to the knowledge of their history, traditions, culture, rites and local gastronomy. In the afternoon an excursion to the archaeological site of Lagaria, founded by Epeo, creator Troy's horse, where will see how Greek ancestors lived.

    Departure to Matera with a stopover in Rocca Imperiale for visit the village, full of charm, with the houses in tiers at the feet of the Swabian castle. The village full of history, boasts the Romanic Mother Church and Monastery of Observant Franciscan Friars (now waxworks museum). Arrival in Matera and visit to the Sassi,where we dive in the quietness of the quarters Sasso Barisano and Sasso Caveoso, walking down the roads where Pasolini shot “The Gospel according to St. Matthew” and Mel Gibson “The Passion of Christ”. Fascinated by the city of grottos, where any corner astonishes. We'll stay in places full of atmosphere to discover the hidden corners of the ancient districts .

    After breakfast, departure to Bari,an ancient maritime and commercial centre, with a modern soul. Here will discover the old town centre with castle,Cathedral of S. Sabino and Basilica of S. Nicola, crossing alleys until the Arco Basso street where ladies hadnmake “orecchiette” (ttypical Apulia's pasta) which will taste for dinner, a taste of Apulian kitchen.

    Arrive to Castanese CLC, navigation of the Naviglio Grande canal by boat across fortresses, villas and palaces, old bridges,, Dinner in the Buscate CLC where you’ll enjoy time listening Angelino’s old stories about the Buscate’s toothpicks factory. He’ll tell you stories about the main old factory of the area, introducing you to the magic toothpicks world.

    Visit of Milano, well known as business capital of Italy, but also a city rich of art with a monumental richness blended in an urban context. During visit you’ll see the Duomo, the famous gothic cathedral, walk through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the Montenapoleone’s fashion district, admire the Temple of the Opera theatre, “La Scala”, and get amazed in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. Back to Castanese, at Villa Annoni will enjoy a “magic evening” with popular music, songs…and traditional dishes.     A tour through Castanese will bring to Vanzaghello, for admire a copy of Leonardo’s painting, in Arconate with its wonderful old palaces, in Dairago where you will enjoy a children’s dance show. After lunch in the Arconate’s Senior Center, where you will be introduce to the «pigotte», Milanese’s rag dolls. In the lab seniors and volunteers will show you how they hand-make rag dolls, sold to raise funds for UNICEF, you’ll learn the process and – if you like– you can try to create one.
